About Us

Our Mission Statement

It is the express mission of the Kettle Falls Community Chest to provide its clients with food and other resources without prejudice, and with the intent of keeping the dignity of those clients intact.

Description of Program

The Kettle Falls Community Chest is a food pantry and attached Thrift Store. We’re an emergency food pantry that provides food to our community.

The Thrift Store accepts donated household items that are available to the general public as well as the clients of the food pantry. There are no fixed prices; the goods are ‘sold’ for a suggested donation amount. The store provides on the job training for a program designed to get those on government assistance bank into the work force. It provides a discount shopping area for our clients and provides the food bank with additional income.
